Basic Trackback Instructions
ScrapeBox now has the ability to post Trackbacks to Wordpress blogs, this page explains the usage of the new Trackback functionality.
To post Trackbacks you can harvest and use the exact same list of blogs you use when commenting. There is no need to modify your Blogs-List.txt file ScrapeBox will handle the special Trackback URL for you. Firstly, not everyone enables Trackbacks on their blog so the success rate is likely to be less than what you regulary achieve through commenting. This is not a failure with ScrapeBox, it’s simply the blog does not have Trackbacks enabled.
You can harvest Trackback enabled blogs more accurately by adding additional footprints in combination with the Wordpress checkbox. You can see i’ve ticked “Wordpress” plus added “You can leave a response, or trackback” in quotes to the custom footprint box as well because this string of text is found on blogs specifically with Trackbacks enabled.
The following Screenshot shows this:

To find these additional Trackback footprints, you can view trackback enabled blogs and note the unique text used informing you the blog accepts Trackbacks.
The following screenshot shows how i found the footprint above:

Your-Blogs.txt
This file contains your blog URL and Title. This is your domain you want backlinks for and the Title will be the anchor text used for the link to your domain.
This is how it looks when posted to a blog:

You can add multiple URL’s and Titles to this file, seperated by a new line and ScrapeBox will randomly select a URL & Title pair to use on each trackback it submits.
Trackback-Excerpts.txt
This file will contain a Title and an Excerpt, this gets posted to the target blog as plain text. This works similar to Your-Blogs.txt and you can include multiple Title & Excerpt pairs and ScrapeBox will randomly select one pair to post to each target blog.
This is what this looks like on the target blog:

Note: Beofre using Trackbacks, i highly suggest you spend the time looking at a few legitimate Trackback entries on various blogs around the web to see what sort of info to place in your Trackback-Excerpts.txt to imitate legitimate trackbacks.
Blogs-List.txt
This file is quite simply, a list of blogs you want to submit Trackbacks to. At the moment ScrapeBox only does Wordpress, and you do not need to add special Trackback URL’s to this file. Only add the normal blog post URL’s and ScrapeBox will do the rest.
